If you are ready to say I do, Lillian is ready to be apart of your wedding day. With a background in both hair and makeup she is able to create your total transformation look for your special day. Currently servicing Brisbane, Tamborine Mountain, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. Conditions apply.

I'm Lillian and have been working in the beauty industry as a hair and makeup artist for over 25 years. I first began my career as a hairdresser in some of Brisbane's most prestiguous salons including Oscar Oscar and Stelios Papas which gave me the foundation on which I have built my hair and makeup career. I started working in television in the late 90's which opened the door to working on many productions both national as well as international. I feel blessed to be able to do what I am so passionate about, even all these years later.

I am based in Brisbane and mostly service the South East Queensland area however am available to travel both interstate as well as to international destinations.

Got a lovely message from a dear friend today who I’ve only gotten to know in the past few years. She was going through some old photos and came across some of her wedding photos from 2006. She recognised me in one of the prep photos and only then realised that I did her hair & makeup for her wedding. 😱

What a small world! Almost 20 years on and still doing what I love 🫶🏼

When the bride said I have long hair 😳
She meant to say that it was next level long hair but how amazing did the end result look? 🙌🏼

We added these gorgeous little feathers and buds from her bouquet and the style allowed her to move her hair from side to side as well. Just love love love! Perfect for a country wedding.

Being a south east Queensland artist I often get asked for weddings off the mainland as the beaches and the sun just hit different 🫶🏼

Here are some things to consider when booking an artist to come across from the mainland.

⛴️ “Planning a ceremony on an island? Your timeline depends on this one thing…”
👉🏼Ferries come and go throughout the day and what might seem as a great initial thought to get your hair and makeup artist on the first ferry over might actually leave you short on time to get you and your bridal party ready in time.
Remember to look at arrival times of the ferry, allow time for them to get up to your room and set up!
Before setting the ceremony time, check with your artist how much time they will need and work back from that and see how that works with the ferry times. You may need to consider a nights accommodation so they can start at any time you need them to or look at getting multiple artists working alongside eachother.

📸 “Want those glowing, golden photos? Timing is everything.”
👉🏼Find the best time of day for photos and plan your ceremony around that. If you want a morning ceremony you may need to consider the heat and glare of the sun or if you opt for an afternoon ceremony to catch the setting sun, timing is everything as you don’t want to be left standing in the dark!

🌊 “Thinking of saying ‘I do’ on the beach? Don’t let the tide steal the show...”
👉🏼If you’re planning an island wedding you’re most likely getting married on the beach or at least have your photos taken there.
Consider the high and low tide times but most importantly…..check if the tide is coming in or going out at that time! You might plan an afternoon wedding at 3pm at low tide however by the time the ceremony finishes you could all be in ankle deep water as the tide is coming in! (Trust me I’ve personally witnessed it 🫣).
